How did you write the track in the very beginning?
„Told“ is actually the first song we ever made, and it has been a big part of our sound since the very beginning.
What can you tell us about recording „Told“?
We do all of the recordings ourselves in our own studio. It was an easy track, we know the song very well so it is probably the fastest recorded song on the album.
What’s your personal favorite moment of the track?
The beginning of the guitar solo, which have a long tone lasting for fifteen seconds.
How can I understand the lyrics?
It’s about living the dream of what you’re told to do. Which isn’t always the ideal way to live life.
What’s your favorite one-liner?
Why did you choose the track as a single?
It’s a nice way to start the new year with releasing the first song we ever made.
At what point of a concert would you most likely play it?
When we need a boost, after the slow one.
How’s the music video fitting to the song?
It’s a good fit. The music video contains a gigolo, a lonely runner, a dishwasher, a woman and a bartender. Five characters which suits the song’s lyrics really well.
At what moment should I play „Told“?
When you have delivered something with a deadline, but you only did it because you had to.
